real talk
alright here’s a dose of my mind:
people have really got to stop spam sharing those pictures of people with diseases or disfigurement.
here me out here. i know a lot of people see those pictures and share them to show that they care about those less fortunate. it’s fine to be sharing one that truly touches you once in a while but what’s the point of sharing every single one that you come across?
just by sharing all of them doesn’t show that you care more than anyone else does. flooding your entire wall with pictures like that does not make you a better person. a lot of you are also forgetting that no matter the differences between you and those people, they are still people. they have the same emotions, the same wants and needs. in the end, everyone is human and the exterior appearance of someone does not change that fact.
what matters in the end is that you know that you are tolerant. you know to accept people no matter their circumstances. you do not need to resort to flooding your wall with pictures of less fortunate people. see past the exterior, they in the end are normal human beings who have the same basic make up as you and I. don’t belittle them by spamming those pictures. I’m sure they want to be treated like normal people and ask for nothing more.
